Few people know this, but the sirens are not creatures that live in the ocean only.

They can live in fresh water perfectly well, however the majority hates the lakes and rivers cause the muddy puddles must best be avoided.

But sometimes a lonely mermaid decides to go up a river and settles in a small lake to live a quiet life away from the bustle of the oceans.
